AFAIK, there is no crack for v1.03.

There isn't unfortunately and its been a very long time since the 1.03 patch has been released. I'm wondering what the hold up is on this. A mini-image might work if its possible to defeat the sneaky protection scheme. I read about someone who did it, I'm going to contact them to see how its done.

As I'm a fellow fan of this awsome game I'd like to present a way to make a "not so orginal" version of this game with patch 1.03 working.

To do this I'll allow myself to reprint a part of .nfo file shipped along the CXZiSO group version of the game (so actually they're the ones to be praised for it :P whomever they might be :P :P :P):

" Game will not run mounted due to virtual drive blacklists so....please burn!.
CD1 is not protected and can be burned [or mounted ;P] as a normal iso.
For CD2....please do the following..
Burn using newest Alcohol 120% Version. Start alcohol’s image burning wizard
and burn ccd' using the securom new (not securom new 4.x) datatype setting.
Burn at 8-12x for best results though it has been tested at 52x.
Liteon Cd Rewriters are the recommended hardware.
[Note: Before burning you'll be warned that the image size doesn't match
the lead-out specified in the toc and you'll be given three burning options.
The first option is correct: "Keep TOC as on source cd, write until end
of image file".] "

After installing from Daemon 3.47 I've burned my CD 2 with Alcohol 120% v1.9.5.3105 and it works perfectly fine. Though you have to close ("exit") the daemon tools program from the tray if you have it installed or the game will prompt about locking the Daemon tools instead of running.

Also I think that running the game this way will work with future patches as well.

When a crack is available, it gets submitted to GCW pretty fast. Vice versa, if GCW doesn't have it, it doesn't exist at all. As for solutions without a no-CD crack, well, try to make a mini image or something (see the FAQ).

You are banned for a month! This will give you time to either buy it from an online store or get a friend in another country to purchase it for you and post it to you! There is no excuse these days!
