Which antivirus?

I am looking for an antivirus for Windows XP because I am tired of all that **** that tries to infect my PC. So far I looked into Kaspersky Antivirus and McAfee Virus Scan. Which one is better or should I pick something entirely different?

Recommendations will be as many as the replies... It is much up to personal preference.

I really like Zone Alarm that has a Firewall with Antivirus support... Some people will say NOD32, MCAfee, Norton or whatever...

But I can tell from experience that Norton is not a way to go... Norton Antivirus has given me the worst experience ever from an antivirus application. But some people will like that too...
