i was thinking of buying the xecuter 2.6CE with solderless adapter from whitedog, am i wise in doing this, or is there a better chip on the market, i only want the chip to play my backups but i dont want no crappy thing made buy some old woman in an underground facility like thanks in advance

Yes, so many chips are made by old women in underground facilities...
The Xecuter 2.6 will be excellent, however you should start by checking your xbox version so that you know that the solderless adapter will work. Which solderless adapter is it?

If you are unsure I would say get the Xenium SP.I.C.E it is solderless for all xbox versions, features several bios banks and has a built in OS on the chip. Costs a bit more but is guaranteed to work on all xbox versions (1.0 to 1.6b).

Also decide right away wich bios to use, that is depending on your xbox version too. If you have a 1.6/1.6b EvoxM8Plus_16 is great as it supports both. If you have 1.0-1.5 version bios will not matter that much. But you can never be wrong with any xecuter bios that is out there.
