Is there a program that lets you choose witch harddrive you want to use i'm asking this question because I heard that if you want to play on xbox live you would need to turn off your chip and have the original harddrive so I was wondering if there is a program like that.

If your xbox has never been on xbl at all, a new HDD should work fine. Just make sure it is locked
If your xbox has been online, then you either have to swap drives, or change the new drives HDD key. You may have to do more, i'd have to look into it because I don't exactly remember what needed to be done. Maybe somebody else here does.
