xbit question (Help!)
I'm installing an xbit on a friends xbox and just had a quick question.
The xbit comes with a removable wire conecting the motherboard to the dvd drive do i have to install this as my xbit doesnt have it? PS What is it for??? |

no, it is used for turning the xbox on with the chip enabled, or without the chip enabled, via the power/eject buttons. I personally don't like this, but many people find it handy.

So if i install this without it everything will still work ok?

You need the board that enables and disables the chip. But you don't have to hook it up to the eject/power board (yellow wires).
