Any way to save game shark data?!?

i was getting board with dc and decided to get the gameshark iso, is there anyway to save codes you have put in yourself?!?! (besides the serial attachment)

it works great the codes i put in work but everytime i turn it off i lose everything i customly put in. And if anyone has ever fooled with the ######## #### codes you know how frustrating that is.

Never had a VMU ever, just the standard memory carts. You may have to go in, fiddle with the Options a little bit and have it save to a normal memory cart. I know that is the very first thing I did when I burned Gameshark and I've never had a problem since.

Gameshark doesn't require a VMU. If it did, there would be no reason for them to sell the Gameshark "Massive Memory Card Plus", which is an 8-bank (8x) memory card and USB cable for use with the Gameshark disc.

I've got the Massive Memory Card Plus and Gameshark codes save to it with no problems. It is not a VMU. You just have to be sure if you have a memory card, that you have formatted the memory before using it the first time. It should require you to format the memory before use though.

The first bank on my 8x card was preformatted. The DC prompted me to format each of the other 7 banks as I switched to them, since they weren't formatted yet.

Anyhow drop the stuff about the cards i have my burned gameshark working and saving my custom codes.

My crisis is i need to figure out why these two codes aren't working for ######## #### Online and hears my situations.

God of Grinding) the first night i got the gameshark i typed it in and the first time it worked perfectly. I went to bed and got up the next morning tried agian and it hasn't worked since.

God of equip) I has never worked, I got it to freeze on me once but that's it.

Any idea why those two are not working?
Every other code i have in there works!
I'm stumped. I thought maybe i mistyped it but that's not the case i went over it and over it and found nothing wrong. I was thinking maybe you have to have the items in ### arranged a specific way like the item modifier code.

Say WHAT???

Why the heat? I don't understand what you're trying to say here - the initial post of yours doesn't specify ECHELON, however who cares? If it is, as you say, "RIGGED SO YOU CAN SAVE YOUR CODES WITH A CARD", why the problem? That's not a VMU, it's a memory card.

Of course I never (NEVER) said anything in my previous message that should've caused your comment, "what did you think you saved your codes too the air??"

WTF was that all about? Don't be rediculous, of course you have to save codes to MEMORY. You ****DON'T**** have to save Gameshark codes to a *VMU* (Visual Memory Unit) though!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think you must've misunderstood the intent of my first message. I wasn't "Flying off the handle", nor was I "flaming" you.

Your last message I replied to sounded as though YOU were "flying off the handle" and "flaming" ME, and that's why I got a little bit heated in my reply. I was just really puzzled and a bit defensive about your previous post and didn't understand why I was receiving $#!+ from you for no reason.

My first message wasn't a flame. It was simply trying to explain that a VMU wasn't necessary, and that any memory module should work just fine.

Let's just say PEACE and let this drop - it was obviously a case of misunderstanding on both our parts.

I totally agree with ya. i did have a misunderstanding with you post and am sorry. now on to more impotant things did you ever try the codes i mentioned up there in my previos messages? read what i posted and see if you have any suggestions.

( that is if you have played ### with these codes, if not don't worry about it) its just those two codes are driving me nuts i've one second it works one second it doesn't, it just doesn't make sense.
