Installation not right
Ok, I just got a swap magic and slim tools. I've installed the tools as said, but piece A (the hinge one) will not push the micro-switch. This means I cannot use anything yet and, as Swap magic is all i can afford, is a waste of nearlly all my money.
The piece is definetly as far as it will go, and there is no way of pulling it out, aside from opening the PS2. |

sorry! this aint gonna help ya m8 but just to say that i hope people take note of your situation and learn from it !!!!!!!!
save ya pennies and get a proper mod install . and believe it or not a mod install ait that pricey either! am i right eh eh am i right eh

Sorry your having problems nanotechmonkey. Most of us here dont use the swap magic so where not much help. Maybe Jay_83 will read this and be able to help

K thanks. I managed to get it running temporarily, but I've worked out Piece A is faulty. Im now going to try using the piece "A" part of the straw swap trick instead.
