The X2.6 has a switch to turn the modchip off, with the DuoX2 you have an option at startup to decide wether to have it on or off. Think it is like:
Power Button: Start with chip Eject Button: Start without chip not sure about that though but I am sure it can be turned off. The Xecuter 2.6lite is of course better as the DuoX2 is considered a cheapmod.
