Battlefield 2 Problem

Bf2 does not work with single or multiplayer crashes after loading and restarts or sits there with a load noise help?!

specs:
pentium 4 3ghz
9600xt 256 mb
1 gig of ram

newest drivers installed (graphic, mainboard, soundcard,...)?
you've got the newest patch or whatever?
does it say anything (error message)?

i have the solution
u should have motherboard with 8x agp right
if so all u have to do is to set the agp speed to 4x and play the game
it will run perfect
enjoy the game its wounderfull

yes it does after alot of trials

How do i change 8x to 4x on motherboard
