Wrong MP3 Firmware Updating

Hi, i bought the mp3 player that is on my avatar, worked for 7 days, and i dont what was i thinking when i decided to update the firmware...
So... i had this firmware

Then after the updating, i have this one...
THE FIRST ONE I DONT REMEMBER THE VERSION... I GUESS IT WAS 2.0.37 or 3.0.37... I DONT REALLY REMEMBER
AND THE SECOND ONE IS THE 2.0.42
If the blue new updated MP3 is being sold with that firmware, why it doesnt work on mine?...
Mine works, it turns off... and after 10 seconds is when i can see the main menu, when i scroll to the right, left, or push any other button, the screen turns off, and after 10 seconds it turns on, showing the option i wanted... i mean, if i'm in "MUSIC" and i want to scroll to the right to "RECORD" or "VOICE" (dont remember)... it turns off(the screen), and after 10 seconds it turns on in "VOICE"...
I still dont get it!...
I would be very glad if any of you can help me...
