Half life no cd

Right neone know if their is a proper one for hl? Tried load of them but they either have no sound, display an error message or opening sequence missing. I need this as my sis wrecked the cd. And also if I crack is their ne way to run it through steam?

Do you really mean "Half Life", or do you mean "Half Life 2" ????

If this is about Half-Life I am pretty sure that an install will do good and you'll be able to run it after that.
Thats how my Half-Life works atleast (Half-Life GoTY edition original).
Half-Life 2 gets NoCD after a patch (official patch) so update the game through steam and you'll be fine.

As far as I remember, the latest patches (1.1.0.1 without and 1.1.1.0 with Steam?) both already remove the CD check from Half Life 1.

It's beside the point, you DONT own a working cd anymore so it becomes illegal, contact the supplier for a replacement, thread closed.
