Pal to NTSC Question

Please Help,

Quick question regarding Pal version games, if I own a PAL Version Game and I want to convert it to a NTSC version, is this possible, because I have tried two conversion utilities, the one here on ConsoleWorld and somewhere else?


The results were that the lines on the horizontal keep moving, won't stop.

I have a NTSC TV only not PAL, so that is my major problem I am having.

There is a few ways that might work..
one is to try a RGB-Scart.. not the ordinary cable that comes with the console.. many issues can be solved by a new cable..

I never patched a game for nhts/pal on a ps2 but I'm sure that there is a unversal patcher or a specific patch for that game..

THe patch thing there is someone else in here that should be able to answer....

Can I request a PAL to NTSC patch for a certain game then, not sure if that is legal????

I know the patch has not been released, I think this game will never be NTSC, hence the reason I bought it. I do not have a modchip, or anything like that so that is not an option.

If you dont have a mod chip how are you booting the import game? BTW what game is it that isnt available here in the US. If you had one of the new mod chip installed they have features that will correct the video output for you.

@Dustpuppy I'm not sure the scrat cables are combatable with the US TV's? I could be wrong as I have never looked into it because I have never had a reason to.

Well, ok, I am booting with a loader program, ie, bought online to play backups, etc., cd is Bomberman Hardball PAL Version.

I really enjoy bomberman, and I want to be able to play again.
It has the old bomberman version as well including the new on this cd.

Any suggestions?

Scart cable is a no go, won't work either.

Funny that game hasnt been relased for the PS2 yet in any region so how did you get it? Read these.

Okay can somebody just patch it so it can work for Bomberman Hardball.

Yea it is not retail, ok we all know, now and I believe it is not being released for USA since it is Japanese release.
