Has the PSP been hacked ??

Just seen that some groups have released games was just wondering , cant see how like cause it says the games are on dvd ? and the psp is umd isnt it ?

There has been a release of a tool that allows you to extract the games off the UMD discs but still no way to play them as of yet. Keep your eyes open though, a memory stick hack may prove useful.

Seems like thats going to be the only plausible way.. Daaang thats gonna rack up some cash. So.. Why wouldn't you just use your originals, I mean they're protected anyhow with that plastic cover.. Unless you're a meat head and go and step on it or something. A hugemongus data stick would be as much as your original game anyway right?

Yeah the datastick would be pricey but at least its rewriteable. Once your done with one game you can easily overwrite it with another.

eh.... the released games arent that big, wipeout pure is just over 200 mb......... only the umd movies use up the whole 1.8 gigs............

Either way, you can't play them yet, and I'm sure 2nd gen titles are gonna be much more complex and therefore bigger and will take up much more space on UMD than a game such as Wipeout... I'm thinking in particular 'GTA: Liberty City Stories' when released...
