Cd Image Patching
I have a cd image, and its patch. But I have 2 problems.
1. How will I know if the image isnt ALREADY patched? Is there any way to tell? 2. If I patch like a 800 meg image, but i have about 300 megs free on my hard drive, Will I be be able to patch it? Can I just apply the patch to the image, or does the prog have to make a temp file, taking another 800 megs of space? Thanks

Yes patching a CDI file that is already patched will irreparably destroy your DC, it will ####t a fire in your DC, then hop out and sleep with your wife and steal your credit cards and run across the US on a shopping spree!!
No image is already patched, from my experience, which dates back to when Utopia first released the boot disc, no one provides a patched CD image. Anyway patching 400000000000 times over will not destroy it or anything, it will just patch the samething 400000000000 times over. You have only 300 megs free on your hard drive? My God.... I'm pretty sure you can patch, but if you only have 300 megs free, whatever godforesaken version of Windows must be 1000% slower and laggier than what it originally shipped as. My advice, sort through all the zips, MP3s, and pr0n images and decide what you really need to keep... ~The Masked M0M0~
