"TCP stack flaking out" in bittorrent

hi i keep getting this message in bittorrent. i am using windows xp sp2. i checked the bittorrent faq and it said to enable the tcp stack fix in bittorrent, i tried this but it didnt work messages keeps coming up. can anybody help
