Try using the regular English version(U.S., America, whatever) NOT the international version.

This might not be the source of the problem, but I used the regular one, NOT international and it's fine for me.

Don't get your files from anywhere but the official site.

Don't forget to install the Patch ON TOP of the Sacred PLUS download!!!!

After the patch, rename your sacred.exe to sacred.org. When you install the no-cd crack, DO NOT overwrite your sacred.org that you just made!!! :P

What is CAF.DLL? I know there's a trojan running around called Backdoor-CAF.DLL. It's a little worrisome, despite my being protected by BOClean, that I'm not sure why this file is necessary.

Hey guys, sorry for bumping, but the international version of Sacred Underworld should be out by now. From what I've read on the official forums, people in the US don't seem to be able to get a hand on a copy yet, and I also don't know if the UK-Version is out for two weeks already (i assume not, but anyway, the german one is out for approx. 2 months), so this won't be a request, but what I really like to know: anyone of you got the UK-version? Is it 2.21, like the current german one? And if so, has anyone found anything different about the cp from classic Sacred?

There is a wayd to evade the protection, provided it was burned with VOB5-ProtectCD

I cant find a crak to my version of Sacred plus (1.8.31) and no one of you has the same version! i have tried everythin you has discibed in this tread, and this is the first game i cant crak! plz help! i has the english eurpean version.

i guess it works now!

This is what to do:
1. Install the game
2. patch the game with the lastest patch (the one for multiplay)
3. rename the orginale Sacred.exe to Sacred.org
4. get the patch from GCW (GameCopyWorld.com)
5. copy the Sacred.exe and the Caf.dll files from the patch archive to game dictory
6. Remove the ...Sacred.exe line from chkfiles.txt
7. Play!

I just bught a copy of the sacred +plus+ game and tested all the cracks.
They all do not work.
My version running the original exe file shows version 1.8.30 and seems to be an english(US or UK version) with scandinavian help docs.
When running a crack and starting a new game the screen becomes black as mentioned before in the forum. When running a saved game no people are shown. They seem to be there because the game runs like normal using the mouse.
When running the "special" image crack I can't even start the game it askes for a key. In the crack is spoken about a key.reg file that is missing. Using the the key that comes with the game it does not accept this key.

So far the testing result.

Hope someone comes with a working crack.

I think I have a worse problem than you all, The game loads goes through the cinematic and when its loading I get a black screen, and it takes me back to windows to send error report? Could the problem be that I have 256 Ram? I dont have enough? My video can play it fine because it plays WoW, FFXI and stuff.. So do you think its my Ram?

Try running the game without a no-CD patch and with the original CD. If it still crashes, there's a problem with the game and/or your PC, so contact the game publisher or refer to the official game support forum instead. If it works, quote the exact error message you get with the no-CD patch.
