GOW...I'm very stuck.

Okay...I know that this forum specializes in backup and related topics but I need help and am getting extremely frustrated in a certain part of God of War. If anyone has beaten this game please reply and I will go into detail what I am having problems with. Just for an added note I have read every Faq/Walkthrough I could find so I'm relying on my peeps here at FF to help me out.

I've beaten the game, but the best place to find all this stuff is at http://www.gamefaqs.com

Thanks for the reply but I have read every walkthrough on Faqs and other sites. Nothing addresses my problem and why I can't advance in the game. They just state, "swim down and you will find a large room," and in my case it is a dead end. Sadly I might have to start over and make sure I don't miss anything this time around.

Oh yeah, I think I know where you're talking about. Just keep looking around, you will find it eventually. I was swimming around a bit until I found the right room.

Thanks for all of the replies. I have figured out my problem and have beat the game.

On some games I play, I am more interested in the story and just to play the game rather than the difficulty. So on these I just pop in a codebreaker disc and play. Well, come to find out, I had the cheat on that gives you all special items and being that the muse keys are special Items I had them from the beginning. After I turned the codes off and replayed the game up to the point I was stuck, the door that was closed before was now opened solving my problem.

And just to clarify I only "cheat" on single player, never on multiplayer...

Ha, now you know why you shouldn't use cheat devices

And you shouldn't cheat at any time! You'll never appreciate and treasure the experience if you bore through it with everything maxxed out and unlimited health.

I have to agree, cheats limit your overall experience in games. However I will use them when I have very little time and many games that I want to play and beat (for storyline and sheer gameplay) I don't want to be hung up at a certain place in a game because I find it difficult to beat. Anytime I play my ps2 I treasure the experience... It's not saying, "I played GOW and beat it using no cheats!" It's more a long the lines of "I played GOW and it is a kick @$$ game!"

Im in the Hell part and Im quite upset. Ive always hated what I call "jumping games" where you have to do timed jumps or xtended jumps. They just piss me off. Arghh! I hate this level and what its resorted to. Gimme a big bad boss to fight or something. Just not JUMPING!!

I know exactly what part of the game your talking about... The Frickin' rotating spikey logs or whatever. And then there is the moving platforms. What really sucks monkey balls is that even with unlimited health if you fall it still says "you are dead!" I hated that part of the game. I basically got lucky after hours of cussing and throwing crap at the TV. I totally sympathize with ya man!!!
