XENA or anyone..i need your help with C vs S MF 2000

I successfully ripped C v S MF 2000 (PAL). Unfortunetly, the iso size is WAY more than 700 MB, so i gave the music files (adxXXXX.bin) a filesize of 0. Still not enuff space for selfboot, so i hacked the 1st_read.bin to ####t from Utopia's Bootdisk. Okay, game ####ts (w/o Music of Course), and the demos run. But when i press ####t to ####t a new game, the game switches to the main title screen and you hear "Capcom Vs. SNK - Millenium Fight 2000" and then, the DC hangs and nothing more happens. MUST it be made selfboot to get this working? Please help Xena.
