Need help burning nester v.1

Ok i have 2 questions,
1. i need help trying to burn nester v.1 i unrar it then i take the bin file and use bin2iso on it i burn it then i copy the cd image from the cd into a temp directory i burn that with DJ and i turn on my DC and try to play it i put in the boot disk that came with the game and nothing happens i put in the game and nothing happend i put in the utopia boot loader and then the game and nothing happens can someone please help me i have tried everything!!.
2. My brother is trying to play sonic adventure 2 and he plays the levels fne but he has no music. could the utopia boot loader or the cd-r disks be messing up my DC??

Sonic Adventure 2 (the Echelon release, anyway) doesn't need or work with the Utopia Boot-Disc. It's a self-boot game. It came on .CDI and is burned using Disc Juggler.

My SA2 has music - it was Echelon release, came on .CDI, had to be patched because Echelon overlooked a little bit of protection before releasing, and when burned using DJ3, it was a self-booter.
