The Vanishing
I am trying to back up The Vanishing and cant figure out how to remove the FBI warning. It shows up in the movie but it does not have a chapter for it like ususal to uncheck to remove. I have run into this before but just gave up and went on. Any Ideas.
Im using the latest AnyDvd and CloneDvd. I own them. Thanks Terik |

Yeah the FBI warning isnt always on a clonedvd readable chapter. Use DVDShrink to find it in the menu folder and get rid of it from there. I blank it out with a single jpeg.

Ok, Since I never use DVD Shrink, I am having trouble figuring out how to blank out the FBI warning as you said. It tells me that I have to reauther to choose items to delete. But when I try that, it tellls me I cant.
Sorry if I seem too dumb to figure out, but I dont usually have a problem. Am I mising something? What do you mean by one jpeg also??? I'm confused? I must be a rookie! Terik |

Once your movie files have been opened in Shrink. Start opening the folders on the left (DVD Structure) that say menu until you find your FBI Warning clip. You can view it on the bottom screen by pressing play. Now once you have that clip highlighted on the left look to the right side of Shrink (Compression Settings). You should find a drop down that says something like "Automatic". You want to select Still Image. Itll ask if you would like to pic one from your pc. I personally use an all black jpeg I made just for this.

I went through the whole thing but when i sellect "Still Pictures" it does not give me a option of selecting a pic. I checked everywhere for an option but am unable to figure it out. I went on several sites looking for something on their guides but noone covers that peticular thing. Sorry Terik |

My appolygies! I had a older version of Shrink and it did not have the "still images" but only "still Pictures". When I last posted I had downloaded the new version but evidently wasnt paying attention. Everything is going smooth now.
Thanks Terik |

Ok, just wondering after replacing the FBI warning with the black image is there still anyway of getting rid of that long black pause at the first of the movie.
I thought I read it in the forums somewhere how to do it but cant find it searching. Terik |
