I don't know where you got that file(s), but true DC game releases have one of the following extensions:
.RAR, .R00, .R02, .R03... (Rar files) .001, .002, .003, .004... (also RAR files) .ace, .c00, .c01, .c02... (ACE files) I haven't seen any other compression formats used. Whatever that file or files is that you mentioned, it's definitely not a release file. Most games require as many as 15-20 files, each being 19-20 meg each. If you don't have several files and they aren't 19-20 meg each, you don't have a game release. With the .dwg on the end, it looks like you have some sort of "DRAWING" format for some program... BTW, you'll need a very fast connection (not 56kbps) to get all the files you need for a single DC game, otherwise you'll be downloading for days. |

hehe.. weeks even...
I've never heard of a "dwg" file either.. I would ##### your file size like Wayne stated... Are they all like that? You could always try renaming the extention to "rar" or "ace" and see what happens... |

A Neewbie downloaders advice...........
I have a 56k modem atm im d/l MDK2 total of 10 files pretty much all 19megs........ in 8 hours i d/l'ed 4 files today i downloaded another in 6 hours and i still have 3 left. But then with DOA2 it took me 5 days to d/l 17 files 16 files were fine and 001 was corrupt. Stupid me deleted the entire file without thinking but ....... i backed the files up on disk until i came here i had NFI what i was doing so now im d/l 001 to add to my collection and hopefully that works. Stick to .rar or .001 .002 etc files And when in doubt pop in here there all great in here and im sure they'll lend you a hand as long as you dont ask Stupard questions |
