Grand Theft Auto 3 won't copy!!?

Hey,
I can backup all my games accept GTA3... a friend of mine told me that they are putting a thin layer of something on the bottom of PS2 games so that you can't copy them. Nero burning rom won't even recognize GTA3 and just tells me that it's not a valid CD. I can get smugglers run or madden2001 to copy but GTA3 just won't. Does anyone have any idea how I can copy it? I also noticed the cd has a silver back not the dark purple or blue like the other ones.

If anyone could help me it would be greatly appreciated.

hi man
its a dvdrom disk so unless u have dvd-r burner and the 4.7gig cd's
it wont work.
gonna be a problem if they start releasing games in this formatt and the burners are so damm $$$ to buy atm

why don't they release em all in dvd format eh

Hi,

ive got a DVD RIP of this game onto a CDR its very tight just about managed to fit it onto a 80min CDR, trying to chop it down further to a 74min CDR would be silly.

i have a dvd rip of this and its on 80 min cdr and works perfect
