I tried it, but my box just didn't have the power to handle it. It ran like crap. Here is my box to compare.

Celery 433, 320 RAM, 32 MB GeForce 2

You misunderstand me someone has ported MAME to work on the dreamcast, i was just wondering has anyone tried it yet, as i've a load of old game ROMS i could use with it, if it's anyway playable.

Oh! heheh.. I used a MAME EMU for DC and that is what I was talking about...

But, I haven't heard of using MAME on your DC... That would be cool though...

Their is a MAME emu for DC called MAME DC but I havent tried it yet, if any1 knows if its any good please tell me!

The MAME emu for DC is not finished yet but you can download what the programmers have done so far. ##### out BooB! But u might as well play MAME on your PC and download real games for your DC... emus for DC are a waste of time in my opinion.

I wouldn't quite call them a waste of time, it's nice to be able to play some of the old classics from time to time on your DC. Though MAME for the DC has some rough edges, such as games running a bit slow it's not a bad effort at all (especially as i've cured my screen size problems). Though the PC version is far better, some of my friends with DC's don't have access to PC's but would still like to play some old arcade classics. I'll stick to the PC version myself

I see what your saying Bravo...if u dont have access to a PC...then go ahead and get the MAME emu for DC... but like u said, the PC version is way better...
