Which program you recommend to burn dual layer game, cuz i want to copy my Kessen III, it DVD-9.

Isn't DVD9 the same thing as dual layer DVD? People have been saying they couldn't burn GT4 because it is dual layer. How is this any different?

So, it's just GT4 and not DVD9 in general that is not burnable?
Since it is dual layer, do you need special media to burn DVD9?

Its not the media its the way the dvd9 of GT4 is made.

Putting GT4 aside for the moment, how do you back up DVD9 games?

you could try nero or dvd devrypter, althogh i could never get a dvd9 ps2 backup too work, you may want to try flating the game and try it off of hd loader

I thought it wasn't possible yet due to:

OTP (Opposite Track path, used for DVD videos) and PTP (parallel track path, used for games)..the problem is DVD+R DL read/writing software is only OTP.

Maybe Nero has some new firmware for it, i don't know.

You mentioned flatening the game and try it off of hd loader.

you extract all the data from layer0 and layer1 then combind them into an oversized dvd5 game and use something like hdl dump to transfer the image to the ps2s hd

i did this with MGS2: Substance and it worked
