Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines
Is there a no-cd patch for v 1.2? i've heard that there is, and it would be uploaded to GCW, but i've been checking everyday for the past week and a half. Am i missing it? or has it been uploaded at all yet?

Unofficial patch
Hi Y'all
There is an unofficial patch (fixes the society of leopold crash) that works fine with the hoodlum v1.0 NoCD crack. Goto www.filefront.com, type "Vampire Bloodlines" in the search for edit box and click GO. In the list that follows you'll find : dan_upright's Bloodlines Patch v1.0 ..... Not Tested dan_upright's Bloodlines Patch v1.1 ..... Tested with Hoodlum V1.0 NoCD dan_upright's Bloodlines Patch v1.2 ..... Not Tested L8er k!rr3D

There definitely needs to be a label with large letters "THERE IS NO NO-CD PATCH FOR VERSION 1.2" on the download page for Vampires. Perhaps, in it's own separate section called "Vampire - Bloodlines v1.2 [ALL] No-CD/Fixed EXE"...

but there is...
there's one going around p2ps that i found and it works for me. it seems legit as i got it bundled with the v1.2 patch and both exe and dll files are slightly different to the v1.0 crack. so far playing the game i've had no problems that others have been having playing 1.2 with the 1.0 crack. i tried to upload it to GCW but weeks later it hasn't appeared. i got no message telling me the e-mail had bounced so i assume they received it... ________ Mercedes-Benz W125 Rekordwagen history Last edited by reddragon105; 30-01-2011 at 04:33.

Heres the deal...
The dll file is the proper exe but packed with the cd-protection, the exe is a loader which unpacks the dll into the memory to be run. The 1.2 patch changes the dll file and exe file, so using the 1.0 crack will still have the side effects of previous bugs. Try to stay away from cracks on p2p's only reason being your never to sure what you will get and if you do get a proper crack your never sure if its not infected with a home brew virii or trojan thats embedded with it.

I got the eMail from RedDragon and checked his V1.2 crack.
Both files (exe+dll) are the same with the available V1.0 crack from GCW. THERE IS NO "REAL" V1.2 NOCD CRACK AVAILABLE. (The crack works with the V1.2 update, but all the bugs/errors that were fixed with the update, will still be there.)

well i guess i am just lucky not to suffer from any of the problems that using the 1.0 crack with the 1.2 patch leaves behind
