What CC was suggesting was that the "Y-fix" for other chips works for some cases and doesn't work for others. Is it the case for MI or is CC exagerating to advertise their chip?
Thanks |

Seaney, how does your MI play PAL-games if you choose PAL60-mode in the menu? Mine does play NTSC-movie-DVDs fine, but for PAL games the mode leeds to the wrong y-pos. Is that normal and does the mode only work with NTSC-games?

Well, I know, all I wanted to ask you is if you have a PAL game and could possibly test it with PAL60 on your console?

Thanks anyway, seaney! If you are modded again you might possibly test it then? Iīm afraid I didnīt understand that y-pos feature anyway. Not sure if it should also work for PAL with PAL60 or it just handels import problems and has nothing to do with PAL60-mode. Sped once posted the y-pos is still to come for the MI, maybe in 1.4. At the moment I am, as everybody else, on 1.39.

yeah all these fancy chips pft! there all the same they just do different things. Its just the programing thats different its nothing to do with the chip. Most chips uses the same wiring diagram just a few points vary depends which chip and the power intake. I still use duo and infinity for any install.

...and you obviously haven't read my sig earlier in this thread have you?
'Messiah 2 1.33b' DMS4 aren't a patch on the CC or MI - they're much easier to install and their teams aren't complete ar*eholes...

I'm now using Crystal Chips only i still use my HD loader disc instead the MC exploit. In fact i dont even use the Bootmanager. Its not that big of a deal to me. Same when i used infinitys. All my games boot perfectly and thats all that really matters.

what ive noticed its not about the games anymore everyones so worked up about modchips!i feel that its better to go buy your games instead of micky mouse games! modchip for me is for backups only.
They are however uses full for multi region dvds and imports.
