how the h€ll do you extract files when they are not rar files??????????? to me they are just file's they dont even look like rar files so what on earth do i do???????

You would get a straight answer if you actually posted the file name you are complaining about.

WinRAR Volumes Look Like: .RAR, .r00, .r01

WinACE Volumes Look Like: .ACE, .c01, .c02

WinZip: .ZIP

Then sometimes there are .001, .002, .003 I'm not exactly sure what program they are affiliated with, but WinRAR and WinACE will extract them. WinRAR/WinACE are about the only extraction tools you need for volumes, since they can extract and create most any type of volume.
