ps2 pre-mod or video card?

Ok, if you had some money what would you get, a new ps2 pre-modded or save up for a couple more weeks and buy a new video card???

Depends on what you are going to use more. If you are into PC gaming, get a new video card, just make sure the rest of the PC is up to scratch. The current video cards (Ati X800, Nvidia 6800) need a farily beefy CPU to run at a good rate.

you have a ps2 already? try to find a cheap one if not and sent it to spedmetal..save $$ then get the vc. i prefer ps2 over comp gaming anyday--main reason...the couch is more comfortable

You know you have a point. Until they make the Lazyboy brand computer chair, I would go with the PS2 and the comfy couch first. Plus with PS2 you can always play alongside a buddy on that comfy couch. The comp can get kinda lonely sometimes.

very good point! I think that swings it for me. I'll buy a used version 7 from EB and take it to a place I know and that way I'll save about $100 and can put that away for a new video card.

Thanks!!

Have you checked Amazon.com? Currently they say they have 61 new and used Playstation 2's available. There may be a V7 in there somewhere.

I have 3 EB's within 3 minutes of each other so I'm sure I'll be able to find some thing. Benefits of living in Toronto.
