Hdd
hey guys.. im thinking about picking up a couple 200 gig hdds for my PC and Xbox from my computer resaler.. they are running 136 (8mb chasis) or 152 (16mb chasis) cdn dollars.. i am woundering if i should spend the extra $$$ for the 16mb chasis ?

I have never heard the term chasis used for a hard-drive, so I am not even sure what that is. But, it probably won't matter. The xbox won't really take advantage of any extra power in specs that it might have over the original HDD hardware.
If you plan on taking the HDD out and using it in a PC at any time, then the 16 bucks being worth it is up to you.

Well, if you have an 8+mb cache, you wouldn't notice a difference between the 2mb cache. If you plan on putting it in a PC, then I think it is worth it. same thing with speed. an HDD that is 5400rpm will not be noticably worse than a 7200rpm hdd. however, the 7200rpm on generates more heat.
