halo2 hdd= long load times?

hi

ive installed halo 2 to my hdd with dvd2xbox and the game works fine. however, the load time is very long. this is not the normal load time( ive tried the disc) and it always seems to happen when i start a new level instead of resuming a previous game. as i said the game works fine and so do all the other games i have installed also i stress that i do know the difference between this and the normal load time.

So could this problem have something to do with the cache ??

any thoughts ?

Loading off the HDD should be faster. It is for me anyways.

When you continue, the cache files are usually on the HDD still, so it just loads everything from them. When you go to a new level, it has to copy new cahce files to the hdd, which can take time.

i find it noticably faster.. i beat the game on normal now i am going through ledgendary and on some maps it takes awhile to load (1 min maybe).. but like quall said after its loaded once it loads much faster!
PS: when playing ledgendary i use a trainer.. its way too hard without one!
