DPG Terik is an unknown quantity at this point
After doing some long research on putting labels on DVDs. I have come to the conclusion to not continue to do so. From what I have read on many sites the labels do cause problems in playing the movies. I have been putting labels on most of my DVD backups but I have been going through several and playing them and am seen lots of skips and freezes toward the end or outside of the dvd. From what I have read this is a known problem with labels. I am now going to try to remove the labels.
Any suggestions on the best way to remove them?
LOL!

Hairdryer? You just heat them up? I had tried some alcohol but that didnt work too well.

Yep, heat makes most glues used on stickers of all types release. So just heat it up a bit and peel carefully. Ive bought used dvd's that had rental place stickers on them, and I was able to easily take them off. I guess the rental shops either dont know about this or they dont wanna spend the time.

The only reason the disk would "wobble" is if you put the label on by hand so it's not perfectly centered. Use a CD label applicator and it will be straight and ballanced. I have been using one for years with not one single problem.

Hmm, that it BS. Maybe you don't have any trouble but the main point is that dvds are rather touchy and they cannot be compared with cds.

Just burn a dvd and test it for errors. Then label it and scan for errors again. Results are horrible.....(using a applicator doesn't make it better).

I got a applicator and still dont use it, I've seen the edges peel, bubble and get stuck inside the drives.

I agree with Djspindizzy2004....A question was asked because obviously SOME people want their DVDs labeled. I as well was looking for a good site to get the covers and labels from, I prefer my movies to look like movies and not have cds floating around where you have to open each case to see what it is. DVD players are @30 bucks now, and I think my DVD collection looks alittle more organized and professional sticking a good quality label on it.

People come here for answers, not opinions...if you dont want labels then good for you, but the question wasnt whether or not one should apply one.

Got to agree with the man here, i used one for ages and have had no problem whatsoever, that is after i swapped to good quality labels, not the cheap cheap cheap cheap ones that are available.

But have also moved onto to printing directly to disc using my epson r300 it rocks and its worth the coin getting one!!
