DC disc reading problems

My dreamcast with real DC disc wont play all of them some of the games it will play is seamen and internet disc. one of the games it wont play is the tumb raider

is the disc clean? is the lens clean? if not, try cleaning them some.

how would I go about doing that

I wont break it I have a very steady hand and im use to doing things like this

as long as it is clear what im supose to do

if i get a digital camera in the next days
i make a detailed guide to "calibrate"
the dc. but i think something exists
somerwhere in the www.
"calibrating" is very usefull if you want to use
cdrw´s.

i will show some ways, the quick and dirty
and the way to the external pot or switches
with different resistors for gd,cdr and cdrw.

with my dc, i can use either cdr and gd,
or cdrw and nothing else with calibration.
therefore is the switch.

and cleaning the lense sometimes work
like a wonder. espacially if you are smoking.

iff I tern myne upside down for some reson it helps with most games but not with all
