No the same does not go for me dumbass. If someone can't get it to work it doesn't mean it doesn't work at all. He or she might have done something wrong. If it DOES work for someone it means he or she has carefully read and followed the nfo included in the official release. This simply means it WORKS. It doesn't necesarily work for everyone since some people are too stupid to protect their PCs and get malicious wares on their pc. This might screw with their settings. But if 95% have gotten it to work without any problems I can safely say it works.
It works under the circumstances provided in the nfo. If it doesn't work for you, YOU have done something wrong. Don't blame it on the cracker.

the crack won't allow me to play without the DVD in the drive, and i have read the instructions thoroughly, however I have noticed that my version has a newer SF version than the crack... cracks. i assume this could be a big problem!

That indeed is the problem. Not a very big one tho. All you need to do is uninstall the starforce drivers. Look for the starforce clean app someplace, it's out there. THEN replace the exe with the "cracked" exe. And it should be fine.

unfortunatly it isn't that easy! well atleast not for me anyway! still says no disc in drive!!!

I had the same problem.

Try this :
Download the Starf**k crack for race driver 2
Then start Alcohol 120% and mount the image from starf**k.
Then start the starf**k.exe and deactivate all your cd/dvd drives.
Then start deamon tools with one virtual drive
Then start the cracked exe from NCRYSO (gamecopyworld)

It works!
With only the crack of NCRYSO it doesn't
So try this if you have problems.

Not sure if de-activating all cd/dvd-drives is necesary tho. That crack from NCRYISO already does this.

If you have a request to insert a CD in drive than copy the following 3 lignes to a new text file and rename it RD2_crack.reg execute it and restart the game.

Have fun or use your original dvd to play

tried it several times like it's written in the nfo but no success. da*n pc is looking for my dvd

merci bien but it's still not working
i did it this way:

-installed daemon tools 3.47
-created one virtual device
-installed race drive 2 full with original dvd
-patched to version 1.2
-renamed original rd2.exe to rd2_new.exe
-copyed "crack" into rd2 dir
now i get the error message that there's no dvd in the drive but i cant see my devices and the mini image is loaded

yeah, i downloaded the Star**** v0.81Full tool from gcw.com and tried a bit. now it's working ! don't know weither the tool was usefull or not but it's working

ok......i installed toca race driver 2 (Euro VErsion with italian language...i am italian) and i downloaded the crack fix of race driver 2 i follow the nfo and the trainer but doesnt work.........help me pleasee!!!

-Is Not necessary to detach the opticals drives Cd\dvd-rom :-)

-Download from www.gamecopyworld.com the crack "crack no-dvd all-fixed.exe" for TOCA RACE DRIVER 2 (4 Mb).
-Download from www.*************.com "TRD2-Crack No-dvd-miniimage-ITA".
-Install Daemon Tools 3.47 and create 1 virtual drive.
-Install the game "full"(i'm installed the game from Daemon Tools with iso.image and in English language) and launch the game.
-The game window appear:"disc not found" or "Disc not correct" and "Please insert Cd-Key" : clic on "esc"!!!!
-launch the "dlkey.reg" file and update the windows registry(yes!)=(disable the cd-key request).
-Replace the old loader exe (RD2.exe) with the one included in our
crackfix archive.(archive:"TRD2NoCD-NoDVD-ALL-Fixed.exe..")Create backup of the original file.exe for next possible update.
-Create a new connection on desktop with new replaced.exe
-Launch the game with new connection(no with original connection!!!)
-Window of NCRISO appear:clic on "Start Game"....The program automatically mount 1 mini-image(german version) and Hide the Cd\dvd-rom drives.
-This mini-image automatically mounted with program dont work....->
->The game window appear:"Disc not found" or "Please insert the disc correct" DONT CLOSE THIS WINDOW!!!!!!!!!This window Contain "try again"option!!!!
-Unmount the german mini-image(automatically mounted) on Daemon Tools and Mount the mini-image european.
-Clic on "Try again" and..........PLAY :-) Bye Bye Starforce!!

Problems:

-This system is tested only for italian\multilanguage(FR\ESP\GB) version of game and for 1.0 release(updated the game to 1.1 or 1.2 This system dont work because THE WINDOW "Try Again" disappear!!!)
-The savesgame of 1.1 release dont work with 1.0 release.
