FTTP Problem
I cannot connect my pc to my Xbox. It says "This problem occured because the network did not assign a network address to the computer"
Any ideas how I can fix this??

are you connected to a router? If not, did you assign your PC an IP address?

Just connected from xbox to pc with a cross over cable. It worked perfect for ages.
I've tried it with a friends modded xbox too and it doesnt work so it must be the cable or pc

Read the post above. You PC doesn't automatically assign itself an IP. You have to do that manually. Cable modems or routers usually do it automatically, but this is not the case.

if u have windows xp
goto network connections tcp/ip then set it to liek 192.168.0.1 and the subnet does it automatically and do the gateway to the same as the ip *note, the ip on comp and ip on box cant be the same
