help please !!!

hey i got an mtv evolution mp3 player about 2 years ago. i have never been able to figure out how to get songs on it and im pretty good at computers and i read the direction etc. but i broke the cd accidently so i cant return it is there any way i can still put songs on to it? also how do i change a real player file to an mp3 file i think the real player file is m4p or somethin like that. thanks for your help

and as for the cd ... if its a driver cd then try and redownload it
