About 2 weeks ago I purchased Dawn of War installed it onto my partitioned D: drive and then updated it and cracked it so I wouldnt wear out my CD. Then I finished it and didn't play it for about a week and then i got a bad virus onto my C: drive which corrupted windows beyond repair so I decided to format C: after reinstalling all of my programs onto C: I wanted to delete Dawn of War from my computer because I was bored of it but here's the problem I can't remove it from Add/Remove programs list because of the format so I tried to go to the folder and right clicked it and clicked delete but then it comes up with a message saying 'access denied' to the folder so I tried deleting the files individually and that didn't work either but I know I can use DOS to delete the game but I don't know the command so if anyone can tell me I'd appreciate it. (p.s. the game's directory is (D:/Program Files/THQ/Dawn Of War/) thx in advance

There are two ways that I know to do it,
1. Boot up into 'Safe mode' then delete the folders etc OR 2. Reinstall the game then uninstall it. |
