DMS4 E.Z.I. or Matrix Infinity

I would go ahead and get the matrix infinity now but i just heard about the DMS4 E.Z.I. coming out. I know it is not out yet but i need some advice on wether to wait for it to come out or just go ahead and get the the infinity. It will cost me 112$ to get the infinty and installed. So if the DMS4 E.Z.I. is only going to be like 60 and i could install it my self and it would work just as well i would choose that.

any advice i would appreciate.

Infinity's are way better than any DMS chip IMHO.

I for one doudt the DMS4 EZI will be $60, more like $80-$90, just my thoughts but I could be wrong. Also I would be very skeptical of any DMS4 product at the moment, have you been to the DMS web site lately? There are an abnormally large number of people haveing trouble with the DMS4, including me with one that I installed is a V5. The EZI is also completly a clip chip and if you have been around the PS2 sence for some time you will remeber all the trouble the magic clip kits had back in the day. I know they claim this is "new" technology but its still a clip kit, not to mention that the DMS chips have always been very sensitive to the way they are installed and now making it a completly solderless install just sounds like they are adding fuel to the fire. But who knows, I could be totally wrong, we will have to wait and hear from others about how it works out.

Yep, I agree. I never liked the clip kits.
