541 MB on a DVD

Hi Guys!

I want to backup my Game (state of emergency)!

There are just 541 MB on the PS2-DVD, and if i want to write an Imagefile (NERO START SMART) to my hd a error comes "Cannot create Imagefile"!

So i copied the whole DISK (CTRL+A, CTRL+V) to a New Folder on my Desktop! And Then I burned it down to a CD-R! When i boot this game on my PSX2 (integrated chip, dónt know exactly which one) the "Playstation2" logo comes just for a little moment! Normally it stays for 2 Sec. or so, but there it just comes, and escape! And then it seems the Game is freezed, nothing is working anymore!

Must i fix this game with a patch or something? If Yes, how must i do this?
Please help me, and sorry for ma bad english!

THX Yours Ernie

I don't know if you are able to go from DVDR to CDR that easily (I think you can). But you need to get the LBA order right in order for it to boot correctly. The LBA order must be the same as the original game. I believe that should work..... (At least that's how I shrunk my PS2 games and got them to work! Gotta save space on my HDD ya know!)

Talking re

try cleaning the disk neros does this when there is crap/scrachs on the disk also try putting it on a dvd-r, ok it's small enough to fit on to a cd-r but ps2 read dvd faster than cd-r thats why $ony put them on dvd instead or the cheeper cd's

It isn't that easy to go from CD to DVD.

You have DVD Checks - so you'll just have to burn to DVD-R - not worth the hassle. DVDs read much better anyhow

Still don´t want to boot If i want to boot the CD-R the Playstati*n2 Logo appears but then ...nothing! And when I boot the DVD-R the red Display appears "Please insert a playstati*n/ps2 format disk" ...

I´ve also got the same problem with "Headhunter" but when I boot thisone, also the PSX2 Logo appears and then I come back to the menü, where I can choose Memory Card or CD... an if i choose the Disk the same comes again and again PSX2 Logo and back to the menü!

Pleeeeeeze help me i got sleepless nights

Hmm..maybe my chip isn´t as good as others? But why do the other games boot without problems? How can I find out which chip i´ve got?

Sorry, but i´m really interested what about my PSX

THX
