Do not get a slide card, wrecks your laser. Get a modchip installed. Save yourself loads of hassle and expense.

I dont want to screw up my ps2 really which chip is the easiest to istall or r there any non solder chips?

The Duo2 SE that I mentioned above is the nicest priced chip and easiest to install. It does all basic game backup playing and is very well priced at $20-25.
