problem with terraterm

I've got all the needed software and the cable connected properly.

when I go to use terra term, I have no problem sending the file... but I don't get any >>>

in fact, I don't get anything in the terminal window at all... but the file does send...

can anyome help me out here?
is there another terminal software I can use?
or is there something I configured wrong?

could it be a keyboard problem?
does terraterm recognize usb keyboards?

Are you sure to have configured correctly the terminal setting:
transit newline: CR+LF and not receive newline: CR+LF?
It is the kind of thing which appears when we set up the RECEIVE option and not the TRANSMIT option!

yup.... configured right... and, like I said, the file does send... I just can't get any characters on the terminal... arg.

Which version of Windows do you have?
Which version of Tera Term Pro do you use?
which version of Dcrip.ttl do you use?
You may try to use the Dcrip.ttl enhanced by Psycomantis you can download on Xena's Homepage!

tried it on 98 too
terraterm pro 2.3

tried both dcrip's and I'm gonna try the enhanced one more time now... just in case...

let me know if u have any other ideas...

could it be the os?
let me know what you're using, I could always make a win 95 partitionn if needed.

the enhanced version runs, but it doesn't bring up a box showing what it's downloading.... in fact, I'm not sure that it is downloading.......... don't think so

any ideas?

You may try it on Windows 95, because i am not sure Tera Term Pro is compatible with Windows 2000!
As for me, i am using a HD with Windows 95 and only the Ripping tools installed, and it works find!
So try it!
Moreover, are you sure to use a good version of the Serial Slave Disc by Marcus? Does the screen becomes red on the corners once the Disc is loaded?
