I've got a question regarding the G05's (I saw this thread and didn't want to make a new one so I'm using this one for now). My friend picked up a spindle of Memorex DVD-Rs. I noticed after looking at them that the bottom seems to be about the same as the Ritek Media. I borrowed one from him and placed it in my pioneer burner and ran dvd decrypter. I wanted to see what type of manufacturer it came from. Sure enough it said Ritek G05. I'm wondering now, would I be able to use these Memorex instead of actual Ritek media, since they both use the same dye?
(My friend got it for cheap too, 50 pack 8x DVD-R Memorex for $43 Canadian! If it's all good, I might pick up a pack myself! What do you guys think?
