new Ritek 16x dvd+r

Check it out at http://www.cdrlabs.com/#5 Anyone tried the ritek + media??

Yeah I've just got some Ritek Excellent (that’s what the box etc says) 8X +R.

The burner on my computer is a Philips 6002 and I do not seem to be able to get it to recognise the disk.

Anybody have a similar problem. And can anybody suggest and alternate brand of disc.

I'm down here in Aussie

i cant really see the point of 16x media atm as most writers take so long to caliberate to kick upto 16x that 12x is ample, maybe the next generation 109 etc will improve this.
