The suffering, Help!

i got the suffering for pc (uk version). i downloaded the the fixed exe for this game but i get a error message after using the fixed exe:

"Cannot load RFL: incompatible version!"

what the heck is going on?

Did the game run fine with the original disc? Also, you sure your game meets the minimum requirements for the game. Unless you got the latest patch installed (I dont think a crack exsists for this, yet), then you might be out of luck I'm afriad.

Yeah, I think it did. What does that have to do with anything? I was merely mentioning to the guy that he might be suffering from those SSE problems that plague this game, True Crime and, I think, Richard Burns Rally (based on whats been said in this forum)

the game ran fine with original disc. my pc is capable of running doom 3 in all its glory. i dont need a patch cause the uk version was sold already patched.

the crack does exist because ive downloaded it as mentioned ealier.

Ahhh well. Ignore everything I said then. And I've just seen that a crack for v1.1 does exsist. Maybe the crack is for the US Retail not the UK Version?

can anyone explain why i get the error message:

the game is protected with STARFORCE 3.3.37.02

i assume you bought the game in the uk. i tried both versions of crack but both not working.

what version crack you using?

did you update the game using the patch?

im not sure of the version right now as i dont play it anymore, but i think its the latest, in any case it was from gcw, yeah i updated it through the patch. and yesh the game is from uk.

how did u update via the patch?

i thought the uk version was sold already patched.

if u update a game which is already updated i believe a error message will show up.

yeah im really suffering here, can someone please really help me with that 'RFL' error message.
