Mafia Fixed .exe prob PLZ help

hi. i just downloaded the 1.2 patch for the game mafia and applied the fixed exe and when i start it an error comes out saying

error: #3075
File "a2.dta" not found...

and i look in the directory and that file is right there . Can anyone help me with this so i can FINALLY PLAY, i havent been able to played yet so im dying to play . Thx for your help

Dont use the fixed-exe. Just leave the original exe alone and you can FINALLY PLAY!

I obviously tried that but its not the original cd cause my cd1 broke cause my dumb sister so i had a copy made and when i run it it says

Please insert the correct CD-ROM, select OK and restart application

since i dont have the original this happens. I already tried the no cd patch v1.1 and i still get the same error

Is there any way i can remove the cd check thing or take the lock off or whatever so i can make this work PLZZZZ. THX

i scanned what protection it has and it is safedisc 2.80 is there some way i can remove it??? THX
