Kill.Switch Crack

Alright.. I deleted the last post cuz of something I found. If it works I'm sending in the new crack to GCW, and posting it here too. Take a look at the new NFO file from RELOADED about the Kill.Switch release. In it they say "Granted we ****ed up with our release of the game by not checking it properly."

The most likely reason my crack doesn't work is cuz its from the 1rst release that RELOADED did. Not because of my install being screwed up. Not because of me. Because RELOADED screwed up. This new nfo file isn't the same one that is included in the crack that GameCopyWorld has posted. I'm downing the new one now, and I'll bet you that it fixes the issues I'm having with the game.

Oke, there is 1 crack on GCW is this the 'Good' one or is this the one with the freaky 'bugs' ? Cause you got me confused by now:P. If this is the Buggy one, when will the 'good' one arrive on GCW?

Despite what tipstaff is saying, theres only 1 available crack for kill.switch. Thats the one on GCW (I'm amazed EMPiRE stuck it on there )

Concerning that NFO that is being linked to, learn to read properly. Reloaded are having a go at Vengence about another game. The only reason 2 nfos exsist is because Reloaded, for whatever reason, decided to include an nfo with non of the flaming in their crack directory. You really are making a tit of yourself, Tipstaff.

Fine.. fine.. I'll stop posting, I'll admit this is getting outta hand. This started as a suggestion by me, and deteriated from there.

All I know is that I'm seriously having issues with this game, and with this crack. I've tried it on 2 machines, with 2 different operating systems, and every time I load a saved game it does the same thing (and no, not the saved game from the other machine). Maybe I shouldn't have posted that link. As your suggesting they probably are just pooching with each other, and I've mistook the 2 different nfos. I getcha point...

What I want to know is if anyone has tried the one on GCW? Actually, give it a try Alfred. Tell me what happens when you try to load a saved game that is past lvl 2 or 3. (quit the game to the desktop, then go load a save) If you start with one weapon (the shotgun), post it here. One poster said he started with the shotgun every time, yet he says that's normal. It's not. Trust me, it's not. I've played my originals on a friends machine, and I know that for a fact. If you start with the weapons you should have, then post it.. please post it, and I'll admit I'm a tit.

How about, trying ur "originals" in your machine and telling us what happens?

I can't use it. For some reason the controller software on these 2 machines keep conflicting with Starforce 3 protected games. Both use the Intel Ultra ATA driver (both are D850 boards). I've tired Toca out as well (import version), and it wouldn't run either. Believe me, I've tried everything to get it to work.

Hilarious! It happens to me to I autosaved the game on the 3rd level (after i shot the General and i'm trying to rendevous with the Helicopter). I've quit the game and started again, all I had was the shotgun (which you indeed shouldn't have this early in the game) and 1 magazine of bullets! .
Gues you're right Tipstaff lucky for you (now you aint a tit ) bad for every1 who installed the crack .
Just for the record:
I had a m4 with full ammo, a ak with full ammo, a aku with full ammo, a **** load of grenades. After restarting I only have a shotgun with 1 magazine ammo, haven't checked the nades though. But that doesn't really matter.

Interesting, if that bug with the crack is real, then how come no one on the obvious forums has mentioned it yet?

My "You really are making a tit of yourself, Tipstaff" comment had nothing to do with the game/crack by the way. It related to that nfo that was linked to and the comments that Tipstaff made about it. I stand by the tit comment

They said in the Starforce interview, they got all kinds of people standing by to help you. And they'll even work with you one on one.

If they dont, then fire off an email to the firing line how much crap their full of.

I borrowed original from a friend today and have to say that i dont see any difference to the levelsaves i had done with reloaded crack to test if it was ok

btw the nfolink u postet is for The Arrangment which RLD seems to not bin/cued properly according to nuke reasons and Vengance did a bin/cue proper with a patched 650mb setupexe file. Vengance didnt seem to know setup got patched to bypass a freaky check is what i heared but i dont know if true, i just read it on another board.

Anyways, If this is a "bug" with the game, then I appologize to RELOADED for the lashings. At least someone has tried the game, and has noticed the same issues I've been having (thanks Alfred). 'Course, if it is a fault with the crack, then.... I'll just have to play the originals again on my friends nforce2 system just to be sure my memory isn't fading in my old age, but I could have sworn it didn't have this "bug" before. Funny though. The Xbox verison (which works properly) was out long before the PC version, so you'd think someone would have noticed the difference between the two before now.

As for Starforce.. well.. The greatest thing Starforce did to help me was that they sent me a cleaning tool to get rid of the device drivers that Starforce3 loads AND leaves after uninstalling the game. Note to Starforce: you can rent my space while I play your protected game, but I dispise you for trying to squat after I've kicked you out.

Alrighty.. here's the poop. (and Alfred, I hope you find a working crack soon)

I've just finished testing the game with the original CDs. I did the normal poop I've mentioned these last few posts (play to second/third lvl, save game, quit to desktop, load game save). I loaded up the "Slight Change of Plans" level, and wtf do you think I found? That I have all the weapons I should have from the previous level! I even loaded the saves that were made when I had the RELOADED crack on, and those saves worked too! After that I installed the RELOADED crack, and fired up the game. Take a wild, stabbing, guess at what I found.. I had.. the blasted shotgun.

I've even tested this out with the tricks about using the mini CDMI image floating around, and disconnecting the IDE drives (it even works on this PC...whoohoo!). Wouldn't you know it, it worked too, but as soon as I put the RELOADED crack in it messes up.

So, what does this tell me? That the RELOADED crack is not working. Period. I'm mean.. kinda obvious, wouldn't you say? So again, my suggestion is to not use this crack, which, btw, is the suggestion I made at the beginning of this fiascal to HELP people. This is exactly the reason why I don't make cracks for people anymore. No bloody respect.

Edit: BTW... if people still refuse to believe me, that's fine. Sooner or later you will see that I'm right.

All this board space has been taken up with a game that sux anyway. Way TOO much time has been spent with such a crappy title. Kill.Switch should be switched off!! IMO!! Same with that other crappy title Dead to Rights. All that time cracking it and it sucks also. Another country heard from! HIC!!

I was starting to think the same thing. I didn't have to post about this at all, and sooner or later people would start to complain. All I tried to do was point out a flaw in the crack, and all I got for my trouble was grief. Like I said before, this is why I stopped making cracks for people. I'd get flamed for faults in the game, yet they'd flame me thinking it's the crack I made. This time I didn't even make the crack, and I'm still having to defend myself. So that's it. This game is not worth my time fighting over anymore.
