Spellforce - The Breath of Winter NoCD?

well you should look more deeply. Spellforce addon unmounts itself from Dtools or Alcohol so the CD is never insert. If you lock the dtools dll it also says you to unlock. Its a nice trick they used for it.

For a crack i dont think you want to see one much as Xprotector got realy used this time not just faked into it. But this ****ing crypter is so performance killing its horrible. Well best way to show jowood that you wont buy a new pc is register urself with your orig game to jowood and all your friends with the game too and bombard them with complaining about performance lost and so on.

Jowood made enough errors in the past and lost their publishing thing nearly complete to Koch Media in Germany. They have to learn that the enduser is the one who pays the work and want the best possible solution. Xprotectors performance kill isnt a solution in my eyes.

...and ppl still wonder why I avoid games from JoW00t? I do understand their concerns about ppl copying their ****, but packing the game full with protective crap won't fix the problem and going around and threatening the crackers will not help, that's for sure. Hell, I bought Chaser and that pos didn't even install (well, after some "stripping", it did), but trying to play with a "clean" copy was totally hopeless...(bah, back to gaming shop and dineros back)

If your products stinks and ppl hate them so they won't buy your stuff...you can always blame the scene...if you can't stop them - have them arrested.. (weeee) leet

Sorry for bad english i am french, to resolve a part of your problem, go to your Windows registry to remove "clone CD tray" from your startup list and restart the computer. If you dont know we use the registry so use regcleaner 4.3 go to startup list and remove "clone CD tray". normaly this will remove the message "emulation software detected" and create no problems with utilisation of clone CD. hope can help you.

Games are always going to be cracked, however legit users like to use cracks as well as piraters, though single player games is where most oif the loss will be from piracy in my opinion. Making multiplayer games is harder for piracy to bypass in my opinion (mainly private servers comming up) but these could be closed down wasily enough anyways (if they so wanted to do so). Trick is to making multiplayer worth buying as alot are just crap.

Now im not saying all games should have that, but if there gonna fork out millions for a protection, then i wish it wouldnt hinder/harm legit users as well (starforce is painfull, takes me 5-10 mins just to get passed that ruddy check each and everytime i load the f-in thing, by which time ive lost interest in wanting to play it) therefore im gonna avoid all games with starforce protection on it now (boycott along with many others).

There are anti protections and ANTI-protections, but i think theve gone a little too far with some of the latest ones.

Best Games came from Germany in the last 2-3 years!!! (Far Cry, Gothic 2, Aquanox, ect.....)
and 3rd :u should say something bad about a country when it dont depends on it!
Whats the difference, look at STALKER or so, they r from Russia!

So pls shut up, and take a look on us in europe, where we make better games with less money than someone in US!

Like always the truth about best games are produced either in the US or in Europe lies somewhere in the middle. Still I am waiting for a no-cd exe for Breath of winter. Can't be true that the game is out for months now and there's still no crack out.
What's happening? Well, guess we have to wait a bit longer.

It's stupid because the protection does not protect the game from the people who want to crack it. It only works against the legit user. Let's take WC3 for example, the game loads super slow because of the CD check, but it loads instantly for the people who use a no-cd crack.. I think we should just get rid of no-cd cracks and use CDkeys for multiplayer, have it so it's very hard to get the key out once it's installed, It's easy to steal the keys from a LAN for UT2K4 for example but it's nearly impossible for any Blizzard game, all my friends bought SC,wc3,d2 just to play them because they couldn't get a key.

Just as everybody, I'm looking for a no-cd for breath.
I put the new patch 1.38, it is ok. But game want CD in.

Is this protection is above than all crackers team ?
Because, if it is, that would be crap always playing with the good CD in the drive, I hate to open/close my cd drive each time I wish to play with a game.

So, a No-cd for Breath of Winter (1.38) will come a day ??
Anyone have a solution ?

Are there any news about the crack for Spellforce TOoD/BoW?

Patch 1.38 is out and there is no crack after 1.11
My Computer is completely watercooled ( even my graphic card ) and my DVD burner ( Plextor PX-712A ) is not a silent one
