it seems the fix available is a fixed exe and not a no cd/dvd fix.........ok if u are using a backup but no use to those who have several games on the go and want a clutter free workspace!!

There is no CD Check in FarCry once Safedisc is removed, so that fixed EXE is all you need! Sometimes a fixed EXE is all you need as some developers don't put a CD Check in their game as they rely on the Copy Protection for CD Checking.

Farcry no cd fix
I need a little help. I have used the no cd fix on farcry and the single person works fine, but when I select on the multiplayer the PC locks up. This has also happened on True Crime the single works Multi locks up the PC. Please help.
PC Info P4 2.4 ghz 1gig ram Nivida 5200 128 Hd's 250 120 40 20 Thanks

if not, might be a firewall, zonealarm for example locks up on multiplayer on some games if u havent allowed this game to access it without restriction previously

Truecrime / farcry multiplayer
Ok I disabled ZoneAlarm and tried to turn off clone cd and damon tools. but it is still saying I have cd/dvd emulation running. WhenI look in windows task mgr I can't tell if which if any of these are cd lone or Damon. So the just of it is I can't even run this with the disk in. HELP!!!

ull have to uninstall them i dont think its enough with disabling them, except for zonealarm that is.
