I created a BIN/CUE for Cotton for DC. Then I used BIN2BOOT to create a CDI. I proceeded to burn a backup of the CDI with DISCJUGGLER but the file was too big...
i never used bin2boot before... it created 4 tmp files and a CDI image of 784 MB the CDI makes discjuggler run 2 sessions/2 tracks and i imagine something is wrong. it says there is not enough space but i know this should fit on a CD can anyone help me out? thanks |

Not surprising in the least. DC games come on a proprietary format called "GD-ROM", or GigaDisc-ROM. These discs have the data packed in tighter, and the disc can hold 1 GB as a result of this. So, many games that you try to copy will not fit. I havent backed up any of my DC games in a long time, so I don't really remember, but there are many tutorials and programs out there to help you fit it onto a disc. The other thing you could do is try to find someone who already has a version that can fit on a normal CD-R.
Hit up google for some tutorials, they should be pretty easy to find. |

Since one of the two methods available to do this is way too much work and would be pretty hard for you to find the cable to do, you only have one option and that is to purchase a broadband adapter (BBA). Sega stopped making these a long time ago, so your only chance, really, is Ebay. Using the BBA and a program on your computer, you can, in a sense, download the game in the DC to your computer via ethernet cable. Don't expect it to take any less than an hour, and possibly much more. From here, you'd need to find ways to rip the game down, possibly downsample music, take out unnecessary FMVs, foreign languages, etc. Since this whole task is such a hassle, and without some prior knowledge can be hard to do, you're better off just getting the versions of these games that the release groups have already made fit onto a CD and made available to the general public. If you have no idea what I'm talking about just PM me.
