Thumbs up SafeDisc 2.70.30

I know it's an old version but I searched the forum for links to removers for it and all were either removed from the site or my peering does not support those domains. Can anyone give me a link to a remover for it. A loader is of no use to me.

Safedisc 2 Cleaner v1.2.0 - SafeDisc v2 upto v2.60.52 & SafeCast 2.11.60 is available @ GameFix

A newer version was never released (to my knowledge) so most likely it will not work for sd 2.7

Thumbs down

Sorry didn's work. Tried other tools from the page but they were just as useless for this version of SafeDisc. I was able to get an .ICD file but to no effect.

Buy second game than u need no backup

Hi my kindest regards to u . But as u probably know giving away the safedisc version 2.70.30 could be used for an update at the game factories. Buy the same game e.g. or send it to the game factory and u will get a new one for free. This is my opinion. Scene stuff belongs to the scene. Non-sceners go **** your mom.

First, there is no public unsafedisc 2.70.30, second it is not impossible to remove the protection (It can be done quite easy if you know your ****)
Just watch your breakpoints when tracing the code

Cracking is easy !!!

Cracking is very, very easy. As you know the basics and level 2 cracking try to reach level 3 of reverse engineering by reading tutorials. This brings you very, very far and you can easily send your files to gcw after you have cracked them. The described file Mafia v.1.3 is a very easy one you can crack it while brushing your teeth or combing your hair. Cause itīs only safedisc v 2.70.30

Tuts should only be seen as a guideline if you have no clue what you're up to.
As I said, it can be done *quite* easy if you know what you're dealing with.
Learn to pass the debugger checks first (easy), find Oep, get decrypted stuff, dump, rebuild IAT. A good tracer could be your best friend and oh, be careful when putting bpx:s on api, safedisc checks them and if it catches you...bye-bye..now you have some good clues

I finaly figured out a way to make the so called *cracked* exe.
The problem was that it only had the SafeDisk removed and not the normal CD check. And a long time I couldn't find the string in it because I was using the Brat Patched version of W32Dasm.
The offset of the nessesary change (in the first version of Mafia) is 0x0022407E. And the byte should be changed from 75 to EB
