better modchip coming?

I've heard people saying that another mod chip is coming after Neo4, from the other company. This chip is going to able to play all kinds of backups, import, whatever format it is, it will be able to read and also NO SWAPPING FOR DVD backups too, that's what I heard from one of my friend in the videogame store. Could anyone give some information about this fact, or this is just a rumour?

yes it is called messiah , this chip is more complex than the neo 4 but we shall have to wait and see to compare them both.
